This strap is visually perfect and fits my Apple Series 6 watch very well. The stitching and hardware is good quality, and it is quite meaty -- thick. I would not say that it is "soft". Maybe they meant "smooth" and used the wrong word. I had to warm it up and work the strap back and forth for a while before I could get it to wrap around my wrist, and not stand up as if my watch was on stilts. I'm hoping that it will lay flatter after a few days. That said, it is much more elegant than the elastomer strap from Apple. This strap is absolutely worth what you pay for it, and will likely outlive my Apple Watch.
